From messy CSV
to confident call time
FrontRunner covers the whole arc: import and clean your donor data, verify the public giving picture, and hand every caller a card that tells them exactly where they stand.
The Contact Universe
Your entire donor and prospect universe in one enterprise-grade grid: search by name, email, or employer; filter by tag or list; and act on up to a thousand selected rows at once. Columns you choose stay chosen.
- Cycle giving and "Compliance left" as first-class columns
- Phone line-type and DNC chips visible before anyone dials
- Bulk archive, delete, and tag from the selection toolbar
- Print-ready call sheets for a contact or a whole list
Public-record giving history - matched, then verified
FrontRunner matches each contact by name against federal FEC bulk data and contribution records ingested directly from state disclosure sources - live today in Massachusetts, Illinois, California, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Maryland, with more states being added. Because names are shared, you confirm the match before it counts.
- Candidate identities presented as "name match - verify"
- One click - "This is them" - links the full history and lifetime total
- A separate live FEC lookup for quick reference: read-only, nothing saved
- Served from a cache that stays up even when the data lake is down
The Donor Contact Card
A full-screen dossier built for the phone: AI Smart Brief, per-election giving and compliance bars, the contribution and pledge ledger with overdue indicators, a thank-you tracker, tasks, and a one-click call disposition matrix. Every field is inline-editable and every edit keeps a who-changed-what history.
- Smart Brief regenerates only when a new gift or note lands
- Hard- and soft-credit contributions, pledges, and payments
- Household, assistant, and gatekeeper details on the record
- Hover any field to see who last changed it, and from what
The CSV import wizard
Four steps - upload, map, review, done. FrontRunner auto-suggests the column mapping from a large alias table, flags anything it can't place, and dry-runs the whole file so you see exactly what will happen before a single row is written.
- Up to 25,000 rows per import, header row required
- Dry run reports new contacts vs. merges vs. invalid rows
- Matches merge into existing records without overwriting curated data
Two-tier deduplication
Exact matches - same email, or same name and ZIP - merge automatically during import and webhook ingest. Everything fuzzier goes to a review queue: contacts sharing a phone or street address with similar names, clustered and compared side by side.
- Pick the "Surviving Master"; the merge re-parents giving, pledges, interactions, tags, and lists atomically
- Conflicting phones and emails demote to secondary slots - nothing is lost
- Any DNC or opt-out flag on any merged record survives the merge
- "Not a duplicate" suppresses the pair permanently
Online giving flows in by itself
Point ActBlue and WinRed at your workspace and every online contribution routes to the right contact - or creates one - and lands in the ledger as hard credit. Deliveries are verified and replay-safe: the same event twice is a no-op, never a duplicate gift.
- Same match keys as import: email, or name plus ZIP
- Merges fill blanks only - curated fields are never overwritten
- Credential-verified endpoints that fail closed if unconfigured
Built like the finance tool it is
Donor data is sensitive, regulated, and shared across teams that should not see all of it. FrontRunner treats that as a design requirement.
Single sign-on
Authentication happens upstream in your identity provider - the app never sees or stores a password, and access is group-gated.
Workspace isolation
Every query is scoped to the active campaign workspace - no cross-campaign bleed-through, even inside one agency.
Six-role permission matrix
From agency admin to read-only: callers log interactions but can't import, dedup, or see billing. Admin overrides are themselves guarded.
Field-level audit trail
Contacts, giving, imports, merges, and membership changes are all logged - and surfaced right on the card as hover history.
Consent-aware calling
Line types, DNC, and SMS opt-out flags live on the record and survive every merge - conservative by construction.
Resilient by design
Giving lookups are cache-served through backend outages, webhooks are idempotent and fail closed, and secrets stay encrypted in the cloud - never in code.
